Roofing Sales Representative

At ORB Roofing Solutions, our Roofing Sales Representatives are pivotal to our success. These individuals are responsible for engaging with both commercial and residential clients, offering tailored roofing solutions and services.

The ideal candidate is proactive, relationship-driven, and has a keen understanding of the commercial and residential roofing market. As part of our dedicated sales team, you will also play an integral role in networking and community engagement activities to drive brand presence and sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition and Relationship Management:
    • Actively identify, approach, and engage potential commercial and residential clients within the designated territory.
    • Understand and adapt to different customer needs, be it a homeowner or a business.
    • Cultivate and maintain long-lasting client relationships with regular check-ins and follow-up.
  • Sales and Consultation:
    • Conduct site evaluations for potential clients, assessing roofing needs and challenges.
    • Present and detailed roofing options and solutions tailored to client specifics.
    • Deliver accurate proposals and estimates promptly.
    • Meet and exceed established sales targets.
  • Product and Service Knowledge:
    • Remain updated on the latest roofing products, technologies, and market trends.
    • Participate in regular product training and seminars.
    • Advise clients effectively, drawing from a deep product and service knowledge base.
  • Networking and Community Engagement:
    • Regularly attend networking functions like BNI, Local Chamber events, and other community gatherings.
    • Represent ORB Roofing Solutions with professionalism and engage potential clients or partners at these events.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize the impact of networking initiatives.
  • Feedback and Reporting:
    • Communicate customer feedback, market dynamics, and competitor activities to the management team.
    • Document all sales activities, potential leads, and customer interactions using the company’s designated CRM.
    • Attend and participate in regular sales and strategy meetings.


  • Facilitate meetings with Prospects
  • Provide Sales Proposals and Estimates to Clients within a 24 Hour Turnaround Window.
  • Uphold the company’s values and ethics, ensuring honesty and integrity in all interactions and transactions.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, such as marketing, customer service, and operations, to ensure smooth sales processes and post-sales support.
  • Acquire Client Feedback and Positive Reviews for the Company’s Marketing Effort
  • Participate in training, workshops, and seminars to improve sales skills and product knowledge.
  • Continuously seek feedback and look for areas of improvement in the sales process
  • Utilize various sales techniques and tools, such as cold calls, emails, and social media, to generate new leads.


  • Proven sales experience in the roofing or construction industry, with a focus on both commercial and residential sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the latest roofing materials and solutions.
  • Ability to network effectively and maintain a professional demeanor.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and dependable transportation for site visits and networking events.


  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is a plus.

Compensation: Residential Commission Up To 10% and Commercial Profit Split Available
